WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

Why you’ll love Rio Carnival

Why you’ll love Rio Carnival

you're the one who books the table, remembers the birthdays and leaves first because you've got an early start. carnival is where you get to be the loudest, most alive version of you, and nobody's asking you to sort anything. you'll spend your days at blocos, rio's street parties, dancing with thousands of people in the middle of the city. one night it's the sambadrome for the big parade, all live drums and floats the size of buildings. in between there's copacabana, santa teresa and the selarón steps, a samba class, and christ the redeemer and sugarloaf on your last full day. carnival on your own sounds like a lot, and honestly? it is. this way your tickets, hotel and plans are sorted, and you've got a whole group to dance with from the first night.

you're not up for travelling as a group or meeting new people

big crowds and loud music all day aren't your thing

you want early nights and a slow, quiet holiday

It was good but I wish it was a little more organized

It was good but I wish it was just a little more organized and there was a welcome dinner and a farewell dinner for all the girls to say bye. Also a breakdown of itinerary / money cause there was some confusion on what money went to but overall a great experience and would recommend.
